Cookies

What we set

Nothing. This site is made of static pages. It stores nothing on your device and sets no identifier: no cookie, nothing in local storage, nothing that can follow you to another website.

How we count visits

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is deliberately the least invasive option available to us. It records that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world the request came from, and how quickly the page loaded. It sets no cookie, builds no profile, and stores no identifier that could recognise you on a return visit or anywhere else.

We use it because we need to know whether the site works: which pages people actually reach, and whether they load fast enough on a phone. We do not need to know who you are to learn that.

Why there is still no banner

A consent banner exists to ask permission for storage that is not strictly necessary. There is none here, so asking would be theatre. A banner would be the weaker choice in any case, because the honest alternative to asking permission to track you is not tracking you.

If that ever changes, this page changes in the same breath, and you will be asked properly, with refusing exactly as easy as accepting.

Booking and photographs

Booking is completed on Guesty's booking site, at its own address. That is a different service with its own cookie practices, and its notice applies once you are there. Nothing is carried across from here, because there is nothing to carry.

Property photographs on these pages are served from Guesty's image service. Fetching an image sends the ordinary request information any server receives. It does not set a cookie on this site.

If you want to check

Open your browser's developer tools, look at storage for this domain, and you will find it empty. We would rather you verified that than took our word for it.
